DePaul Mask Project

Our makerspace took on a huge mask order this summer and we have now sewn over 830 masks. Lead by Declan and Rachel, our team ordered custom DePaul fabric and distributed mask materials and sewing machines to our employees across Chicago and out of state.

As this project kept growing, our team expanded as well. We branched out to family members and got two new employees out of this project! During winter break we started a Zoom sewing circle to discuss the project and turn the work into a community activity.
