Applications for the IRL Fund are now open! If you’ve got an idea for a big group project and need some extra funds, this is your chance to receive up to $500 to make it happen. We’re looking to support joint student-faculty projects that promote the culture of making and tinkering at DePaul through cross-collaboration and use of both digital and physical aspects. In addition to funding, IRL Fund projects will receive storage space and creative support from the Idea Realization Lab for the duration of the project.
Proposals can request up to $500 in funding, and should be scoped for completion by the end of Winter Quarter. Interested teams must haveat least one supporting faculty member, and should include members from more than one college. Applications should include a page describing the project and its relevance to the advancement of making at DePaul, a few sentences about project goals and timeline, a justification for the budget and supplies, and finally the resumes or CVs of the team members.
Proposals are due no later than January 6th, 2019. Winners will be announced by January 14th. Send proposals here: https://goo.gl/forms/0mJKAzS0v0iR6Eyq1
